BTS Rapmonster Bento

Ingredients:

White chocolate

chocolate or chocolate writing icing

Yellow chocolate or candy melts

Vanila Yoghurt

yellow or orange fruit

(Mango, Rockmelon, pear, etc)

Biscuits

Equipment:

Bento Box or lunch box

Acetate sheets

heart shaped vegetable/fruit cutter

Spoon

Skewer or toothpick

Rapmonster Hiphop monster Template
Tip:

When making a Bento its important to use a variety of colours, using a mix of fruits and vegetables is a great way to add colour.

Instructions:

Rapmonster Chocolate Hip Hop Monster

 

Step 1. Place the rapmonster hiphop monster template under a sheet of acetate

 

Step 2. Using the chocolate writing icing carefully go over the outline of monster, once finished leave in fridge to set

 

Step 3. Melt yellow chocolate melts in a bowl

 

Step 4.  Using a spoon cafefully fill in heart on hip hop monster outline.

 

Step 5.  Melt white chocolate melts in a bowl

 

Step 6. using a small spoon pour white chocolate onto monster outline careful not to smudge outline or go out of lines.

 

Step 7. Place monster in the fridge to set

 

 

Heart Shaped Fruit

 

Step 1. Take half a rockmelon and cut it in half

 

Step 2. Remove seeds from rockmelon halves

 

Step 3.  using the heart shaped cutter cut out heart shaped pieces of rockmelon

 

Step 4. Place heart shaped rockmelon into a bowl and set aside

 

Step 5. Cut pears in half

 

Step 6. using the heart shaped cuter cut out heart shaped pieces of pear

 

Step 7. Place heart shaped pears into a bowl and set aside for later

 

 

Assemble Bento

 

Step 1. Place yoghurt in one section of the bento

 

Step 2. Place chocolate hiphop monster in the middle on top of the yoghurt

 

Step 3. Next place fruit hearts on 1 half of the other section of bento

 

Step 4. Place biscuits on the half of the bento

 

Step 5.  Enjoy your bento

 

 

 

Recipe Notes:
  • For this recipe you can use eithe chocolate melts or candy melts, in this recipe I chose to use chocolate melts

  • To melt the choclate melt in a safe bowl over a saucepan of boiling water, I found this to be better than microwaving as the chocolate melted more evenely and microwaving made the chocolate lumpy and set to quickly

  • For this recipe I went for a yellow, orange, cream/white colour scheme

  • You can use a variety of fruits for this recipe such as Mango, Rockmelon, Pear, Apple, Cantelope and pineapple
